WHO WE ARE

Bold and Brilliant Life is an online community providing multi-passionate individuals with resources, inspiration, and accountability to make successful career switches or thrive across multiple careers.

why we exist

As a kid, you were probably told "you can do anything." But as we grow older, we eventually experience an (un)spoken follow up to that sentence: "You can do anything, but you have to choose one ‘thing’ and stick with it for the rest of your life. Otherwise, you'll be labeled as flaky, direction-less, or sometimes even a quitter.”

We are here to change the narrative and redefine what it means to be a bold and brilliant professional who has multiple passions.

We dare you to stray away from social norms and follow your curiosity. After all, revolutionary looks good on you.

A TALE OF TWO BIANCAS

Not only do we share first names, we also share our passion for helping individuals cultivate their passions, spark creativity, and live their lives by design, not default.

Together we created BOLD AND BRILLIANT.

BIANCA M., Career PIVOTER

Bianca Magbujos spent the last five years trying different things in the pursuit of discovering her passions. At first, she can’t seem to get (job) satisfaction, but she tries and she tries. She has been a registered nurse, Project Analyst, College professor, and Clinical Psychology grad student, before discovering her love for training, writing, and public speaking. She is now a Training Consultant, writer, communications coach and the current VP of Public Relations at New York Toastmasters. If juggling all that is a talent act, Bianca M. would’ve joined the circus sometime ago.

“I learned that over time, your wants and interests will change. You may find yourself not wanting the same goal you had two years ago, and that’s okay! You’re not a loser because you stopped pursuing a goal. As long as you did it for the right reasons - it’s no longer fulfilling your desires; it’s not aligned with your discovered passions; or it’s not who you are anymore. It’s not failing, but strategic quitting.”

BIANCA P., CAREER SLASHER

At the intersection of sports, business, and education is where you'll find Bianca Peart. During the day, she's a co-program owner at the College Board providing high school students in underrepresented communities access to Advanced Placement (AP) courses. At night, she's at the Barclays Center hustling as a game night director for the NBA. As a result of her passion and hard-work, Bianca became the first-ever Courtyard NFL Global Correspondent where she uncovered the NFL fan experience in different cities.

“Sports has always played a key influence in my life. Playing various sports taught me responsibility, discipline, and perseverance. Simultaneously, working in education allows me to make long-term impact in our future’s foundation - the youth. Choosing between a career in education and sports? I say, “Why not both?” And YOU can thrive in multiple careers, too! It’s important to demonstrate how skills transfer through [almost] any industry. Combine those transferrable skills with kindness and grit, and you’re on the road to a bold and brilliant life!”
